Riley
Riley came to the Invermere Veterinary Hospital from Oshawa, Ontario in June of 2019. He graduated from Northern College’s Veterinary Technician program in 2018 and completed their wildlife rehabilitation program in 2019. He registered with the OAVT (Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians) shortly after graduating and has since registered in B.C. Riley has been able to follow his passions while being at the Invermere Veterinary Hospital by helping all the injured wildlife and exotic animals. He looks forward to expanding his knowledge in all thing anesthesia.
When not working at the hospital, Riley can be found hiking and exploring with his 4 year old lab mix “Lincoln” (who he adopted from Northern College after his final year), running his baking business—THE MAD BATTER, fine tuning his axe throwing skills, or just hanging out with Linc watching Netflix.
“Working at the Invermere Veterinary Hospital has given me a great opportunity to work with and rehabilitate many different types of wildlife and birds of prey. It has been awesome having the chance to work with a great group of people that share the same passions I do”
